Marine Simulator Benefits From Advanced I/O

The marine version of a flight simulator uses a specially designed software program to simulate the operation of a ship's propulsion system.

Moeller's XI/ON provides the vital link between the ship instrumentation and software by processing signals from the gauges and controls, connecting them to the computer model via a Profibus network.

Due to the modular nature of XI/ON, each section can be customised to individual applications.
