Moeller's M22-ESA fingerprint system acts as an electronic master lock system for machines, systems and buildings, fully eliminating these administrative costs.
Fingerprints are unique, cannot be lost and can be precisely assigned to a particular person.

- Scanning with a thermal line sensor enables simple access.
- The fingerprint when used as a key is a unique biometric feature which cannot be changed, is non-transferable, cannot be lost and is impossible to forget.
- Authorization can be given in just three simple steps.
- Up to 100 fingerprints – ample for any application – giving a quick reaction time by the system.
- Simple mounting with just two standard 22mm diameter holes.
- Commissioning via a plug-in MFD-Titan HMI control (via cable) reduces costs, as only one is required.
- Quick to wire with spring-loaded terminals.
- IP65 degree of protection, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
- Adjustable relay switching times of 1–10 seconds.
Communication with the PC or Laptop
- Simply connect the M22-ESA to the PC/Laptop.
- Operate it just like an MFD-Titan (MFD-CP4-800 plus MFD-80-B) HMI control.
- Connect the serial PC cable EASY800-PC-CAB to the PC/Laptop and the M22-ESA (choose COM1, 2, ... 8).
- All device functions can now be simply and easily controlled from the PC/Laptop!
Simulation software MFD-CP4 can be downloaded free of charge here. (Runs under the following operating systems or higher: Win2000 SP4, WIN XP SP1 or WIN NT4 SP6)
