Overload Relays – Z

Z overload relays protect the motor against phase failure or overload. The auxiliary contacts disconnect the motor via the DILM contactor and signal the fault. These relays are suitable for protecting EEx e motors.

The Z overload relays have been improved and modified for the new xStart range resulting in simplified engineering and connections.

Z thermal overload relays can be mounted directly on DIL M contactors up to 250A. When required, the relay can also be installed separately.
