easy Makes Local and Remote Expansion Simple

[picture of easy expansion units] Building on the success of its highly acclaimed family of easy control relays, Moeller Electric has introduced a series of local/remote expansion units for use with the easy family.

Offering the user greater flexibility, the easy units can now be implemented into projects that require multiple inputs/outputs for greater control.

When combined with the easy expansion modules EASY 619-AC-RE and EASY 619-DC-TE, the easy control relays designated as EASY 619-AC and EASY 619-DC, offer the user a unit with 24 inputs and up to 16 outputs. Delivering flexibility combined with functionality, easy allows the user to configure a wide range of circuits for switching and control.

For the control of larger machines or if the user wishes to solve tasks that are physically separate from one another additional remote inputs/outputs are required. The EASY 200-EASY expansion module has been developed to cope with this task. When connected to an easy expandable basic unit a simple twisted pair cable is used to link the easy expansion module and the control relay. Distances of up to 30m can be achieved thus negating the need for costly bus connections.

If cost is a key requirement in the user's project, the easy basic units are also available in the economically priced versions with no display. Programming is carried out via the Moeller's easy-Soft Software. Using this software a circuit only has to be created once and then it can be copied as often as required.

The easy control relays represent a breakthrough in the field of controllability. easy is suitable for a wide range of applications such as: greenhouses that require automatic control of temperature and daylight; lighting controls for buildings that require the on/off switching to be completed from one central point; and bulk feeder hoppers that require automatic refilling. Thanks to an operating temperature range of -25C to +55C, easy can be utilised to provide trouble free switching and control in the most severe environments.
