Moeller Electric is in Command for Automation

[picture of RMQ Titan pushbuttons]Attractive styling combined with outstanding durability, an exceptionally wide choice of functions, and straightforward connection options for AS-interface systems make the command and signalling devices in Moeller Electric’s latest RMQ-Titan range an ideal choice for use in modern automation installations of all kinds.

As well as standard pushbuttons, indicator lamps and selector switches, the range includes such innovative products as four-way cloverleaf pushbuttons, compact joystick controllers and illuminated emergency stop actuators. All products, with the exception of audible sounders, have an IP67 or better protection rating, making them suitable for use in even the toughest of operating environments.

Key features of the range, which has been engineered to combine convenience with reliability, include contoured switch operators that provide positive yet comfortable operation, and the exclusive use of LED light sources which, with typical operating lives in excess of 100,000 hours – equivalent to well over eleven years – completely eliminate the need for bulb replacement.

To ensure easy integration with distributed control systems and other networked installations, Moeller Electric’s Titan-RMQ range includes AS-interface modules and connecting cables. These allow multiple control and command devices to be connected to a higher-level system with a single AS-interface cable. This not only reduces installation costs, but also increases the flexibility of the installation, as extra devices can be added or removed without the need to modify the cabling.

To complement the command and control products in its RMQ-Titan range, Moeller Electric offers a series of surface-mounting pushbutton enclosures and flush-mounting panels, all with the necessary cutouts ready made. Also available are foot and palm switches, and mushroom head emergency stop switches, which are supplied fully assembled and ready to use in compact surface-mounting enclosures.
