Moeller RMQ16 Series provides Compactness without Compromising
Control

Todays machine builders are looking for smaller and smaller
control panels through which to convey increasingly complex information. A
reduction in physical size, however, must in no way impact upon functionality
and ease of use, principles upon which Moeller Electrics RMQ16 range of
control circuit devices are firmly based.
The comprehensive RMQ16 range offers compactness without compromising
the quality of command, control or signalling. This is achieved through the use
of space-efficient 18 × 18mm fronts which gives three times the density
of conventional 22mm ranges. Device types available include illuminated and
non-illuminated pushbuttons, available in both stay-put and spring-return form;
flush and extended indicator lights for filament bulbs and LEDs; two and three
position switches, in illuminated and non-illuminated formats; and tamper-proof
emergency-stop buttons.
LEDs are available in red, green, white and blue. LEDs have
significantly longer working lives than fragile filament bulbs and will last as
long as the lifetime of the machine. The push-button plates are abrasion proof
so that they remain clearly marked through out their full operating life.
The RMQ16 provides easy set-up snap-fit contacts and has colour coding
to prevent wiring errors. Insulated sleeves prevent contact with live parts.
Double push-on connectors enable the direct connection of power cables. Screw
adapters are also available in addition to the fast-on connectors. An IP65
rating, and a generous operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C
make the RMQ16 ideal for the most demanding of industrial environments.
